We journey with God, to serve with love

Paths of Hope - To New Beginnings

September 15, 2021

We may not have any idea what the Lord has in store for any one of us but that’s where faith comes into play.  We have faith that the road ahead is being watched over for us and any forks or detours are there for a reason.  For a personal example, having a child with autism is not something any parent plans for and is definitely a detour on what parental expectations are.  Nothing is ever a “normal” day when having this challenge but having faith has got me through many very dark days.  There are still going to be worries and anxiety but when we put all of our faith into the one true God we know that there is always going to be a light to be seen even if it’s around a curve and out of sight for us at the moment.

Thank you for sharing a portion of your faith story, Rebecca. I live with two grandchildren (one on the autism spectrum), so I can identify with your situation. Faith does truly carry us through troublesome times.
