BLC Middle School/Junior High Youth

 

 

Our primary programming for middle and junior high school (6th-8th grade) is Confirmation classes, which are an affirmation of one's baptism in the Lutheran tradition! Our time together is spent in Bible readings, games, quizzes and fun fellowship! We also host 2 retreats each year as a treat for our students!
Currently, we are partnering with Feast of Victory Lutheran Church in Acme to do our classes!

Junior High Youth Night

About Our Teachers

 

Pr. Paul Busekist (Bethlehem)

Pr. Paul is an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher with a contagious energy! His lessons often include interactivity and lots of laughs. 

 

Pr. Carolyn Heider (Feast)

Pr. Carolyn is an ever-flowing fount of wisdom! She has a passion for ministering to youth, which shows! There is never a shortage of fun-facts and new knowledge when she is around! 

 

Annie Slabaugh (Bethlehem)

Annie, though not ordained, is the new youth director at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.  She studied theatre arts at Cornerstone University and is looking forward to combining those gifts with confirmation and other youth events.
