Thinking About Salt

July 21, 2020

I was preparing a typical summer meal of burgers on the grill and summer sweet corn and while I was seasoning them with salt, I was reminded of the Bible verse from Matthew 5:13.  “You are the salt of the earth.”

Thinking About Being a Light to the World

I have a nightlight in my hallway.  It casts a bit of light in the darkness and is particularly helpful when I am trying to navigate my way to wherever in the middle of the night.  This bit of light in the darkness reminded me of the second part of
