Message from our Pastors
Dear Bethlehem family,
“Not much happens without a dream and for something great to happen there must be a great dream.”
Great ministry is happening in our midst. Small Group ministry, mission trips, Youth events, Bible Listening,
fellowship groups are all empowering ministries where fellowship flourishes, the spirit of God stirs faith and dialogue and the power of prayer is ever present. Bethlehem is in a new era. We are moving ahead with the spirit of wisdom and grace, love and understanding, patience and joy. The Holy Spirit has called each of us to be carriers of the spirit of God.
In the days and weeks ahead, we, your pastors together with the church council will vision and dream. We will set a plan in action for the people of Bethlehem to grow in the spirit of God both individually and as a community. We acknowledge that high levels of anxiety have thwarted life at Bethlehem and we know that talking openly, gathering our resources, visioning and planning will set us on a path of health and healing. We ask for your prayers as we together with the church council engage in the visioning process and the transformation process which follows. It will require of all of us prayer, the power and wisdom of God, an open mind, a willing spirit, and the grace of God incarnate to forge ahead. We know that we are on track. We trust in the wisdom of God and His guidance. And we believe that Bethlehem has great potential, that it is a church blessed with talent and resource. Journey with us. Grow with us. Deepen your spiritual roots with us.
Peace and blessings to each of you.
Pastors Jim & Jean Vargo
